This custom Wine Room Door Glass design was created exclusively for a client who had a love for a particular California winery! The design is sandblast etched and carved into the thick, heavy glass and features a beautiful vineyard landscape scene, with a chateau off set in the distance, with a cobble stone path leading the way to the chateau. There are grapevines growing in the vineyard, gorgeous textured sculpture carved trees and flowers, and the design even includes carved silhouettes of our clients’ two dogs!

This new design by Sans Soucie Art Glass features an etched carved glass Tree Silhouette. The tree is actually raised, clear glass, with the background area of the glass sandblast carved. Carving the background, means that the glass surface is raised, creating a a very unique effect. The opposite surface / side of the glass is also frosted or etched, so that the glass is obscure.

At Sans Soucie Art Glass, we’re proud to unveil our brand new etched glass design, specifically for Laundry Room Doors. The adorable custom frosted glass design aptly named “Through the Wringer” features a wash board set inside a traditional steel wash bucket with a towel working its way through the wringer, with suds and bubbles running over. The solid frost sandblast technique is also known as a “negative” single stage sandblast and will provide obscurity thru its solid etched-white surface, with the design elements made up of clear pinstripes.

Recently installed by Sans Soucie Art Glass, are these stunning etched glass doors featuring Sans Soucie’s “Sun Odyssey” design, with ALL GLASS DOOR PULLS, custom designed to coordinate with the door glass.
The pulls are 3/4″ Thick Clear Glass, custom sandblast etched / frosted and 3D Carved with a gluechip texture also applied, to perfectly coordinate and add a completely custom finish to the look of the entry door glass.
The door glass is 30″ wide x 91″ tall and are 3/4″ thick, dual pane insulated units. This contemporary / art deco / geometric style design creates a stunning entry to this custom home.

Sans Soucie Art Glass recently finished four etched glass windows / decorative door glass panels for the new Bob’s Big Boy in Moreno Valley, California. The sandblasted, frosted glass consist of four panels that are 38″ wide x 110″ tall. The two center door glass panels feature the well known “Big Boy” of the famous Bob’s Big Boy logo brand, with the adjacent panels featuring a “checkerboard band” that coordinate with Bob’s attire of checkerboard pattern overalls. ”Big Boy” is 40″ tall and is a multi-stage sandblast that is dimensionally etched on the glass surface (not just a plain white, “solid frost”).
Founded in 1936 by Bob Wian, the Marriott Corporation purchased the chain in 1967. In 1987, the chain was purchased frm Marriott by large franchise operators, Elias Brothers. Currently the chain is owned by investor Robert Ligett, Jr. who has renamed the company “Big Boy Restaurants International”. There are more than 455 Big Boy restaurants throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Information on Wikipedia.com says “The chain is best known for its trademark chubby boy in red- and white-checked overalls holding a Big Boy sandwich (double-decker cheeseburger). The inspiration for Big Boy’s name, as well as the model for its mascot, was Richard Woodruff (1936–1986), of Glendale, California. When he was six years old, he walked into the diner Bob’s Pantry as Bob Wian was attempting to name his new hamburger. Wian said, “Hello, Big Boy” to Woodruff, and the name stuck. Warner Bros. animation artist Ben Washam sketched Richard’s caricature, which became the character seen on the company logo. This character would also eventually be featured in The Adventures of Big Boy comic book, produced as a promotional giveaway for children visiting the restaurant. Since 1997, the comic book has been produced by Craig Yoe’s Yoe Studio. Another longtime promotion was the Big Boy Kids Club, offering coupons and premiums to members, who joined by sending in an application from the comic book.”

Sans Soucie Art Glass can create any type or style Tree Design for etched and frosted door glass. - Idyllwild Tahquitz Peak: This stunning piece is a frosted and 3D Carved glass.
- Palm Desert Privacy: These are sliding glass doors. For these doors, privacy was the goal, so a solid frosted design was applied.
- Barren Branches: On this front entry door glass, the glass is etched on the surface, with gluechip texture added.
- Palm Sunset: This glass door is in a dental office. No privacy was needed. The glass is etched /frosted on the surface only.
- Barren Branches Pantry Door: The glass has been sandblast frosted, 3D carved for obscurity.

Sans Soucie Art Glass Wine Room Door “Vineyard Grapes Cascade” was selected and will be featured on HGTV’s “Battle on the Block”, a new reality competition show, premiering in April on Sunday nights.
An etched, frosted carved glass wine room door “Vineyard Grapes Cascade” by Sans Soucie Art Glass Studios, Inc. was selected and will be featured on HGTV’s “Battle on the Block”, a new reality competition show, premiering in April on Sunday nights.
“Battle on the Block” involves three families competing in a remodel of one room in their home. Each family is given a budget and a time frame to complete the remodel, with the winner receiving a cash prize.
In the episode, currently set to air April 4th, one Jacksonville, Florida family converted their pantry into a wine room, and selected Sans Soucie’s Vineyard Grapes “Cascade” Glass for the new door!
Sans Soucie Art Glass will be featured on the show, and will also be included as a vendor inside the HGTV Marketplace Shopping Website.
